I had the super great opportunity to come along with Hiram Trillo to this bridal session. Hiram also shoots film and when he initially asked if I wanted to come along, I got the impression that it would be a film shoot. So I brought along my Mamiya (and only my Mamiya) except of course a few rolls of Kodak Portra 400.
When we got there, he had his trusty Canon 5D Mark II and forgot his film camera. So I was kicking myself for not bring mine along as well. But whatever, it was a super fun time over at the Cotton Mill. This bride was absolutely beautiful and could tell she was as happy as could be.
I feel very privileged that Hiram let me shoot along with him and it was fun to see his approach as well.
So anyways, I hope you like this selection of images I gathered.
Again, if you or someone you know is getting married in 2012, head on over here, check out my other work, and contact me to schedule a meeting so I can take pictures of you too!
